David joined some friends taking “The Artist’s Way” workshop and discovered teaching yoga could be his Art. He began teaching at Unity Church in 1996 and several other places soon after. He received his 500-hr Yoga Teaching Certification in 2005 through Namaste’ International/USA and in 2006 a friend invited him to attend a 3-Day Vedic Thai workshop with Mukti. Upon discovering this ancient/new bodywork, David found a purpose, knowing immediately that he wished to share this graceful practice, and he promptly attended school to receive his massage therapy license. David has since studied with Mukti for over 280 hours of Vedic Thai-Yoga training and given over 500 hours of bodywork. In 2012, David asked a friend if he could teach Thai-Yoga workshops at his home and now leads popular CEC classes around Dallas and shows yogis, massage therapists and others this beautiful, healing Vedic Thai Therapy. David also teaches yoga at a local YMCA and the Rosewood Crescent Hotel in Dallas, Texas.
David appreciates film, attending The Dallas International Film
Festival yearly and savors eating and cooking vegetarian and Raw food. He and his partner, Leah Lila frequent local Kirtan concerts and host gatherings in their home. One of these is a monthly Divine Masculine/Sacred Marriage group for Men to share and discover their divine gifts, shadow sides and to become real friends as Men. David and Leah enjoy traveling and teaching together, the last two years at The Sedona Yoga Festival and have created "The Mystical Relationship" a retreat seminar designed for Spiritual Growth through practice of Vedic Thai Therapy, Dance, Yoga, Inquiry, Breathwork, Laughter yoga and Creating Sacred Space. David also enjoys playing his Native American flute in some of his yoga classes and is a certified Toe Reader/Soul Coach.
