Dawn Hopkins, MA, ERYT-500, is a master yoga instructor and trainer, certified HEY yoga therapist, Thai yoga practitioner, licensed Am I Hungry? mindful eating coach, and Pilates instructor. She is currently being trained as an Ayurvedic wellness coach.
Dawn has been teaching, training, and coaching people toward improved heath and wellness since she opened Curves Ahwatukee in 2002. Dawn's understanding of wellness was transformed in 2004 when she began to integrate her faith into her yoga practice, discovering the true meaning of the word “yoga” by fully integrating her body, mind, heart, and spirit. She became a certified Christ-centered yoga instructor in 2006 so she could share this powerful experience with others. Although she loved coaching women toward better health and wellness at Curves, she felt the nudge to develop a yoga and wellness ministry, recognizing the transformation that occurs when we fully integrate our spirituality into our wellness and lives. In 2009, she founded The Living Well Retreats and began to work with private clients and facilitate yoga and wellness retreats. She also began training Christ-centered yoga instructors. In 2011, she founded The Center for Living Well, a 501(c)3 non-profit yoga and wellness ministry, and developed a Christ-Centered Yoga Leadership training program which is now recognized by the Yoga Alliance. In 2013, she opened The Center, a non-profit yoga and wellness studio, to provide a physical location for The Center for Living Well where she helped guide people toward healing, health, and wellness. In 2016, she founded The Living Well Centers, yoga-based wellness and training centers with training divisions in Chandler, AZ, Detroit, MI, and Esterhazy, SK. She now operates The Living Well Centers out of Joyful Yoga in Chandler, AZ.
