My interest in yoga grew out of an early interest in eastern thought leading to the practices of yoga and meditation and continued study.
Currently, I have over 6,000 hours teaching yoga and have been certified in a Kripalu style yoga which I have combined with Buddhist meditation. I have completed all the training levels of Shambhala Meditation and have studied yoga with Cindi Lee of Ohm YOga and Jill Satterfield of Tibet House. I teach credit classes here at the Spirit Room for NDSU students: "Intro to Yoga" and another class "Creating Your Own Yoga Practice." I'm the executive director and founder of our non-profit organization with the mission to " enrich people's lives through the development and practice of creative, contemplative and healing arts."
