My relationship with yoga began in 2010, while training for triathlons and marathons. I found yoga to be a great cross training tool with swimming, biking and running, and discovered that yoga found its way into all aspects of my life. The discovery of yogic breathing and how to use it to stay calm during training and events helped me to finish five Ironman’s and several marathons. I believe anyone can benefit from the many forms of yoga.
My 200-hour teacher training was completed through Asana Studio in Arvada, CO, and my 300-hour training through Yoga Pura in Phoenix, AZ. My other certifications include kids yoga teacher training with miniyogis® and YEAS (Yoga Education For Autism Spectrum), which specializes in children and adults with autism and disabilities.
