Deb Ferraro moved to California in 2011, after spending 17 years land-locked in beautiful Denver. Trading the fantastic views of the Rocky Mountains for the amazing and inspirational Pacific Ocean, Deb decided to open up a yoga and wellness community center and a non-profit in the heart of downtown Carlsbad. In 2016, Deb became a mom to a sweet baby boy named Devin. She loves to involve her son in her activities and in 2017 created a Me and Mommy fitness program so moms can bring their babies from 5 weeks to 3 years with them to work out. She passed the reigns on for the Carlsbad community programs and relocated her business to the heart of Vista Village!
Deb has been practicing yoga since 2003 and began teaching yoga in Denver in 2009. Deb is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and is trained to teach yoga sculpt, vinyasa hatha flow, yin yoga, kids yoga, cycle-yoga, and bootcamp-yoga. Deb loves practicing yoga for the balance and strength it brings into her life through mind, body and spirit connection.
In addition to yoga, Deb is also an artist. After losing her dog to cancer, she began creating animal memorial paintings, incorporating their ash remains. She has since termed her work “Eternal Art” and she now paints for others to assist their healing process. Deb lives in Vista with her family, and loves being near the ocean for the magical energy that it brings into her life.
