Deborah Fryer, PhD, has been practicing yoga since 1994 and teaching since 2001. While training for her tenth marathon, she developed a knee injury that led her to seek out yoga for healing, and this changed her life. For the past twenty years, Deborah has been an avid student of yoga, meditation and the mind-body connection. She has intensively trained in many styles of yoga, including Ashtanga, Anusara, Baptiste Yoga, and Kundalini Yoga. Her primary teachers include Richard Freeman, David Swenson, John Friend, Barbara Benagh, Shiva Rea, Seane Corn, Tias Little, Baron Baptiste and Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa.
