Yoga and MELT classes will resume in October when I return from my adventures in Bali.
I have been certified and teaching yoga since 1996. I am certified in the Sivananda method which is a classical hatha yoga style. Additionally,I have studied, practiced, and been inspired by the following styles: Ashtanga/Power yoga, Anusara, Vinyasa flow, Iyengar, Bikram, Phoenix Rising, and therapeutic yoga. My current classes are a combination/eclectic mix of these styles with an emphasis on gentle movement, alignment, mindfulness, and fun. My classes are multi-level and held in my hOMe based studio. My intention is to give my students the means to create well-being and health in their own lives through yoga and self care. I also incorporate the Melt method into my classes using specially designed small balls for precision point massage, rehydration of the fascia, rebalancing of the whole neurofascia system & release of neck and low back compression.
I will be teaching MELT and yoga classes in my home studio and MELT classes at Soul Purpose Yoga Studio. These classes will use the MELT roller as well as the small MELT balls for self-care techniques for chronic pain relief and well-being. Small group classes (3 - 5 students), and privates.
