I believe that health, happiness, and inner peace are within everyone’s reach. My personalized approach to yoga and wellness guides people through a process that helps them discover how to enhance their physical and emotional health and to truly live life to the fullest!
I found yoga in a hospital waiting room in 1994. My father was undergoing spinal surgery and after I experienced only 10 minutes of yoga, I felt calm and peaceful. This was something very powerful! I began to practice yoga regularly and have since reaped the rewards of this amazing practice. Yoga has helped me to survive and thrive through some of life’s greatest challenges, including breast cancer and the passing of my husband. I truly enjoy guiding others as they work through the difficulties in their lives and onto their paths towards inner peace and wellness.
I’m a teacher with a degree in Education and 30 years teaching in the public schools. I have practiced yoga since that day in the hospital 26 years ago and have taught yoga for 16 years. I draw from my training in Parayoga, Ayurveda, and Anusara Yoga and am registered with the Yoga Alliance at the 500 hour level.
