Diana Davies is a graduate of 200-hour Pranotthan Yoga Teacher Training at the Princeton Center for Yoga and Health with teachers Priti Robyn Ross and Jay Karlinski. In addition to her RYT training, she has completed workshops in Yin Yoga (with Paulie Zink), Let Your Yoga Dance (with Megha Nancy Buttenheim), Mindful Yoga Therapy for Veterans (with Suzanne Manafort), and Prison Yoga (with James Fox).
Diana has taught studio classes in vinyasa flow, gentle yoga, chair yoga, and mixed hatha; she has also taught individualized senior yoga and offered community yoga classes to people in recovery from addictions. Currently, she teaches chair yoga at the Joy Wellness Center of Baltimore. She also volunteers for the Maryland Prison Yoga Project, teaching yoga to men and women in area correctional facilities. Diana’s classes are calming, yet quietly challenging. They are also creative, weaving in elements from other cultural sources like Bollywood, tai chi, and flamenco.
