Diana first fell in love with yoga during a class at the gym in 2001. As she searched for a career to pursue, she realized that teaching yoga was what she needed to be doing. In 2011, she became a Certified Baptiste Yoga teacher and is currently working towards her 500-hr certification. She has previously taught at New Hampshire Power Yoga, Down Dog Yoga in Washington DC, and LA Fitness, as well as guest teaching in various studios around the country.
Diana came to Sid Yoga soon after moving to Baltimore. She loves the consistent, high quality practice that the teachers at Sid Yoga bring to every class. The warm and welcoming community has also eased her transition into life in a new city.
As a teacher, Diana brings high energy, humor and an intense love of the practice. She loves the connections she makes with students and fellow practitioners and strives to allow everyone she meets to be seen, heard, and loved.
Her favorite pose is Triangle Pose. She loves how grounding down into her feet allows her to expand out and really feel every molecule of her body.
Diana grew up in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and returns often to visit her family. She has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College and is a veteran of the US Army. When she is not on her mat, you can find Diana spending time with her husband and Chihuahuas and knitting up the yarn from her massive stash.
