My passion for yoga started in 2002 when I began taking Vinyasa classes while pursuing my BFA in Performing Arts at Western Kentucky University. My eyes were suddenly open to the art of yoga in balancing the mind, body, and soul. I continued my dance career in New York City but several injuries caused me to rethink my journey in this life. Yoga brought me back into focus and helped me cope with my injuries by practicing with a more mindful approach and gaining a greater understanding of balance in my life.
In 2012 I received my RYT 200 from Three Sisters Yoga Collective. Shortly after, my journey took me to Florida where I continue to grow and discover the many limbs of yoga. I teach at Shanti Heart Yoga & Wellness in Palm Harbor. I teach a Slow Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, and Gentle Yoga classes.
I finds pure joy in helping others create balance in their everyday lives while coping with injuries and lifelong ailments. I believe in nourishing the soul and awakening your true self by being mindful and practicing compassion for one’s self daily.
“The rhythm of the body, the melody of the mind & the harmony of the soul create the symphony of life.” - BKS Iyengar
