counterpoint yoga

Hello and thank you,

I participated in the Saturday morning yoga led by Nick. I have participated in only a hand full of other yoga classes in my life so I suppose I don't have a lot of experience to base my opinion of off however, when I attended Nicks class at counterpoint 2014 it truly changed my life. From then on I stretched with a new kind of focus and meditation that has added noticable improvements to my health. The biggest help for me was learning how to stretch without strain. I have very little back pain now after suffering for four years. I walk around taller because my posture is better, and I have a new found mental clarity each day. Seriously much love to you man!
I went to yoga at a few other festivals and it was like the instructor was showing off every time. Thank you for taking it slow for us newbies and for walking us through each stretch with your calming demeanor. I was sad that I missed the Astral Projection exercise on Saturday night but am super grateful I made it to the Sat morning yoga again and I'm very excited to learn more about SEER!

Thank you so much brother!
Much love!

Instant Trust

Nick immediately sets the ton for any class he is offering. It is apparent that he can pick up on the audience and deliver accordingly. He is very knowledgable in many areas and has the perfect voice to ease our minds. I would go to any class Nick offers, knowing I would leave with a deeper understanding of myself and the world.

I stumbled across "Embodying the Hero's Journey" and it was fantastic. I definitely learned a lot. I came back the next day for the "Monkey Chant!" and it was super. I felt so much raw positive energy surging through us!

A Unique Visionary

I had the pleasure of attending one of Nick's workshops at the Kinnection Campout festival. The passion that Nick has for his unique vision is evident in his detailed explanations. He has a great wealth of knowledge to impart to others and a beautiful message, I would highly recommend connecting with Nick if the opportunity arises!

Just what I needed

I did yoga with Nick Atlas at the Counterpoint festival this year and last, and for the time it was very tuned into what I needed, really giving me a chance to stretch and open up my body and not pushing hard at all which was great considering the environment and what my body had been through. Did a great job of explaining the movements and how they functioned energetically and bodily. I wasn't sure what to do with the wild side/safety oriented slider, there was a great balance between letting us improvise and move how our bodies wanted to move and making sure we weren't pushing too far. Great friendly calming energy and a teacher that seems very knowledgeable. Thank you for this experience.

We Love You

Thank You for your Service here on Earth. You are needed greatly, and the teaching that have been passed down/realized by you are being called to again be with the people. Your class and assistance helped me more than once at Kinnection for sure, coming at times that needed release and grounding more than ever. The only thing you could do better, is do exactly what you're doing! Thanks for listening and watching for your call, and doing what you can, and what you love, in the areas where the energy is needed. You are a blessing, and the blessed! With Love, AUM.

Nick Atlas Teacher review

A 5-Star teacher, amazing person and friend!

Nick Atlas is a knowledgable, confident facilitator

Nick Atlas facilitated several workshops at Kinnection, a visionary arts camp. He led a discussion on lucid dreaming, a sound circle which was a gentle exploration of group vocalizations, qi gong, and a full body group sound and movement experience, Monkey Chant, in which I was a participant. Amazing, uplifting, informative experiences that have led me to further exploration since then. Nick is a great teacher and guide in these energy art forms.

Lucid Dream Yoga

What an amazing experience! I loved Nick's calm and soothing energy, his guidance helped me get deeply relaxed effortlessly, he shared various tips for dream recall, extend lucid dreaming, and how to explore more during lucid dreaming. I downloaded the Yoga Nidra mp3 and the longer one to enhance my practice. Looking forward to his next visit to Tampa!

Yoga Nidra Audio

I purchased Nick Atlas' Yoga Nidra audio program and can honestly say that I experienced the most restful night of sleep I've had in a long time. This soothing, effective program is great for people with sleep issues, insomnia, and those who struggle to attain restful sleep. Nick's calming voice and encouraging words helped me fall asleep in minutes. I've registered for an upcoming seminar of Nick's and I can't wait to learn more. I highly recommend Nick Atlas, his products, and classes. Thank you so much!

Informative, relevant, very helpful

I'm confused by the sliders, but
loved the workshop. If Nick was in NY I'd take them regularly. Good approach to sleep. Bought the CD and have integrated it into my pre-sleep routine. The session flew by so quickly and I wish I had signed up for his second session of the day.

He may have given a definition of Yoga Nidra, but if so, I missed it. I asked after the class. Perhaps repeat it a couple of times through the class, so it is really conveyed.

Yoga Nidra

Hi Naomi :)

Thanks for your feedback.

Yoga Nidra means "conscious sleep," so in this case it refers to cultivating more awareness with both our approach to sleep as well as while we're asleep and in states of deep relaxation.

Appreciate your review, hope your practice is going well!

Very Good Postures That Help Me Sleep!

Nick, Soothing voice and great concentrated poses that relax my entire body and allow me to sleep. Also the standing poses release stress and truly make me smile.
It's fun to do and Nick choice in poses is so much of what makes this a magic formula! Do it! It works! Thanks Nick!

Great experience!

The opportunity to meet Nick was fantastic. He has really a true knowledge, he is very professional, and so much good energy. I was blessed to share that space in the Zen Den Yoga School. this - for sure - will change my life, giving me the opportunity to live in peace and in a content state.

Much thanks!

I so enjoyed the Yoga Nidra workshop at the IASD conference in June. It was a great way to chill out and re-energize at the same time. I especially appreciated the opportunity to meditate in a group setting. Often when I meditate seated in a pre-sleep state I can create this mental buzzing. I thought it was wonky wiring or plain old crazy. I was surprised when you mentioned something sounding like this. It made me feel like I must be doing something right! So thanks for that and thanks also for your generosity of knowledge, experience, presence and energy.

Thank you :)

Nick was an incredible teacher of the healing arts during the 2014 Kinnection Campout this year! Although the Qui Gong class that i attended was only 30 min. long, he was able to give a brief overview of the practice and keep the whole thing incredibly lighthearted so that new students would be able to connect- 'Cause hey, how can you expect to become enlightened if you don't learn to lighten up a bit, right? :)

Mr. Atlas @ Kinnection

I met nick during Kinnection Kampout. At first during his Qi Gong training, again during a yoga session, and finally concluding our time at his monkey workshop. He exudes a type of energy that i respect a great deal. He explains in a voice that is sharp yet clear, but if needed could easily convey a point of instruction through action. I genuinely appreciate having crossed paths with him, and hope to establish some kind of inspiration for a workshop in charleston, south carolina!

He is amazing.

Counterpoint Music Fest

First and only time (so far) doing a monkey chant, and what an experience it was! Very interesting way of connecting to a different side of us, people in the chant, and nature around us. Thanksss

Awesome Monkey Chant

I had the pleasure of participating in a Monkey Chant that Nick led. He was not only informative, but patient with the inexperienced group. Overall, a delightful spiritual experience that I would do every day of the week if I could.

It was great yoga-ing and chanting with you at CounterPoint Music Festival in Atlanta, GA. I'm gonna split the cost of your tapes with a friend who also chanted with us! Your yoga instruction was great-- i was already have a beautiful expansive weekend in ATL up to sunday morning, but i found a bit of yoga i haven't explored before and it was a pretty literal flow state. it was great and now my practice is even stronger! thanks
