Born in 1977, Ela grew up in İstanbul and just recently moved to Dallas. She studied business management and worked in a number of multi-national companies in varios Human Resources roles for 15 years and has put an end to her corporate career as Human Resources Director.
Since her childhood she was an active athlete, running hurdles for the Turkish National Team until her knee injury. After her injury she started her search for alternative solutions to heal her body and soul. She did Tai-Chi for two years which insipired her on the spiritual aspect of life. Studied Reiki and got level II certification. She met Yoga in 2005 and continued her individual practice for years. She took up the 200hr Yoga Alliance Teacher Training in 2013 and continued her learning path with 80 hr Vinyasa Teacher Training from Nicole Ohme and started the 300hr advanced teacher training with Chris Chaves. Having a daughter of her own and seeing her daughers Yoga Practice she took a sertificate to teach Kids Yoga as well.
She’s inspired by the way her body teaches the mind, thus prefers to move in a vinyasa flow in her own practice. She teaches Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga.
