My style of teaching reflects the influence of Vini-yoga, inspired by the teachings of Sri T. Krishnamacharya and Desikachar. Movement is lead by the breath in sequences which prepare the body for holding postures more deeply. Students are encouraged to work with comfort and ease, where postures are adapted to suit their requirements, rather than straining the body to fit the posture. Knees and elbows might be bent, with the emphasis on lengthening the spine. The focus is on renewal, restoration and connection - giving priority to the special needs of each individual.
