A gypsy, lover of all movement, kitchen witch, and outdoor advocate, I have been an avid practitioner of yoga for the past 15 years. Upon completion of my teacher training in 2006 I have taught for the past 8. As an instructor I design classes with emphasis on alignment, breath-work, self-expression, self-reflection, and a good dose of humor. My mission is to utilize the healing arts to inspire catharsis, transformation, joy, and happiness; helping students and clients to realize their inner divinity and intrinsic power so as to step fully into their authentic selves.
In addition to being a yoga teacher I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Expressive Arts/Body-Centered Therapist. I utilize yoga and body-work to assist clients in discovering new ways to work through addiction, eating disorders, heal from trauma, manage stress, and resolve mental health concerns. It is my belief yoga serves as way to holistically connect to the True Self; mind, body, and spirit. By listening to the wisdom of our own bodies we learn to heal and let go of that which no longer serves us.
