Elisa Lipton believes in a whole person approach to movement and healing, and loves helping people feel vibrant yet grounded in their bodies. Always amazed by the positive mental effects of body movement, Elisa’s journey in Yoga, Dance, and Somatic Psychology began shortly after graduation from University of California at San Diego, while modeling in LA then shortly after while working at Passages Malibu. Encouraged by the center’s body-mind practitioners, her personal quest for wellness and curious mind led her from California to Asia to live the Eastern Lifestyle, study Yoga, dance to drums at Eastern ceremonies and festivals, Hawaii for additional Yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine courses, and back to the West Coast again. A believer that true training and knowing comes from the doing and feeling of the work in one's own body, she practices and preaches a consistent practice in community and at-home. Her formal training includes YogaWorks, Hatha Raja Yoga, and YogaEd’s Trauma-Informed Yoga Training with Hala Khouri, MA. She teaches Conscious Yoga Dance, Trauma-Conscious Yoga, Kids, Vinyasa, Restorative, and Yin Yoga.
