I actually began Yoga as a natural complement to running being an avid marathon runner with ten races under my belt. I noticed Improved flexibility, sculpt muscles, cardiovascular development and alleviation in post training stiffness. My practice gave me almost instant full body relief and not to mention improved mental endurance; combining techniques that focus
on physical and mental fitness discipline. Yoga became an integral part of my training regime.
Then came the fundamental lifestyle. True I reaped the benefits physically, but my journey led me to discovering a more spiritual and ascetic discipline; by means of uniting the mind, body, and spirit. Negotiating life from a yogic perspective creates a paradigm for such deep self-examination; a way to engage skillfully in the world.
Having trained in San Francisco, and Morocco and practiced styles all over the world, I recently qualified as a 200hr Yoga Alliance teacher, training with Yogahaven and have taken various advanced Vinyassa flow trainings to deepen my practice.
My main focus is Vinyasa Krama, as this really focuses on the coordination of breath and movement and it is a very physically active form of yoga- great for keen sports people like myself.
