Yoga unites the physical body with the mind and breath. Yoga enabled me to physically and emotionally release during a tough time of my life. It has helped on a journey of self-realisation, becoming aware of the physical body and its limitations. I began to push my interest in yoga further by completing the foundation course with the British Wheel of Yoga. During this time, I became increasingly interested in the philosophy of yoga and started to explore bhakti yoga and karma yoga. It became apparent that more and more in my daily life could be related to yoga in some way. I took this as a sign to continue my studies with the British Wheel of Yoga on the 500hrs teacher training diploma. My style of teaching encourages students to listen to their own body. I teach with an emphasis on safety and “doing less” incorporating principles of yin and hatha. I enjoy working with beginners and those who are experiencing stress in any manifestation (physically and mentally).
