I came to yoga years ago as a way to navigate natural childbirth and motherhood. I practiced for years on my own, because I loved how yoga made me feel. I loved that I could breathe, and find space and maybe a little peace. In 2012 I decided I wanted to take my growth to new levels, and maybe even share a little bit of learning with others, so I went on to complete my 500 hr RYT training through Infusion Yoga and Pilates in Bountiful, a Yoga Alliance approved school. I also completed a certificate to teach SUP Yoga, or Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga. I now teach and sub at several different studies, practicing mainly forms of Hatha yoga. SUP Yoga may be the new-found love of my life, but I still like to share what I love about yoga with my feet firmly on (and off!) my mat, wherever that may take me!
