I enjoy teaching a variety of forms of yoga to students of all ages, levels and conditions. I have been practicing yoga since 2004. My study, practice, life experience and yoga masters have guided me toward teaching.

I received my RYT Advanced Yoga Teacher Certification 240 hours with Highest Distinction from Himalayan Yoga Academy, Rishikesh, India. I was bestowed the title of Yoga Acharya at the completion of my RYT 300 hour Advanced Yoga Teachers’ Training Course in Hatha Yoga at Aarsha Yoga Vidya Peetham in Kerala, India. I completed my 40 hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Joe Barnett at Yoga University of Florida and I am a certified Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga Instructor.

Through workshops and master classes, I have studied and continue to explore Hatha, Precision Alignment in the style of BKS Iyengar, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Power, Kundalini, Acro, Sivananda style, Chair and Yin yoga as well as Ayurveda study. You will find my classes energetically balanced, allowing students to develop physically while focusing on breath awareness, meditation, vibrational energy and creating happiness in our daily lives. Through an integrative approach, I seek to link the ancient wisdoms of Yoga and Ayurveda as a way to create and maintain balance in my students’ lives

Ayurveda contributes significantly to my studies and teaching. At Kerala Ayurveda Academy in Kerala, India, I completed the Primary Awareness Course in Ayurveda and a private Intensive Training Program on Ayurvedic Diet and Women Care, learning both theoretical and practical aspects. I offer basic Ayurvedic lifestyle consultations with an emphasis on diet, daily routine as well as yoga asana, pranayama and meditation guidance.

I have studied with numerous Yoga teachers including: Betty Larsen, John Charping, Bryan Kest, Yasmin Beattie, Joe Barnett, Nischala Joy Devi, Doug Keller, Marios Argiros, Yogi Buddhi Prakash, Yogacharya Kamal Bhatt, Emily Hewitt, Matthew Remski, Yogacharya Naveen Joshi, Dr. Usha Vaishnava, Yogacharya Sanjeev Pandey Ji, Grace Morales, Yogi Vishnu Panigrahi, Yogacharya Ashish Kumar Sharma, Swami Prem Adeh, Bhooma Chaitanya, Swami Yogeshananda, Parameswaran, Dr. Benoy N J and over 106 year old Swami Yogananda Maharaj Babaji,

I live in Jacksonville, FL with my husband, two children and sweet dog. In addition to yoga, I am passionate about travel. I firmly believe yoga can be accessible to all. I honor my teachers and appreciate the teacher in every student.

I currently teach and lead workshops at Soluna Yoga + Spa, Children’s Enrichment Workshop, Jacksonville Electric Authority, Seventh Wonder Holistic Spa and at a variety of facilities with Yoga 4 Change.
