I have been practicing yoga off and on since college and have always enjoyed the benefits I receive both mentally and physically. After I graduated college, I began working as a physical therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting. Shortly thereafter, I became certified to teach group exercise classes and have since taught formats that include strength training, kickboxing, indoor cycling, and Piyo. In 2013, I felt called to become a yoga teacher and enrolled in the yoga teacher training program at Jane’s House. I graduated with my RTY-200 in August of 2014 and have been teaching yoga several times per week ever since. Recently, I received my Pilates Mat certification and have thus added Pilates to my teaching repertoire. I very much enjoy teaching and connecting with my students. My aim is to serve and nurture my students by teaching according to their specific physical and emotional needs.
