Elizabeth is a Certified Yoga Therapist and Registered Yoga Teacher in the Bay Area. Her offerings incorporate the traditions of Hatha, Restorative and Therapeutic Yoga, as well as a background in community mental health. Exploring the intersections of physical, mental, emotional and social health, Elizabeth supports her students in recognizing their inherent worth and increasing resiliency.
Since 2009 Elizabeth has been leading wellness groups. Initially focused on social rehabilitation and community mental health, she witnessed the need to incorporate the body and social influences. Elizabeth deepened her studies of yoga to share with groups and individual clients, and yoga became a useful tool to address strengths and needs, to support those seeking understanding, integration, justice and healing.
Elizabeth began teaching yoga in 2013 and completed her yoga therapy training in 2014. Certified by the International Association of Yoga Therapists, she has shared yoga therapy with individuals of diverse backgrounds to support coping with trauma, anxiety, depression, anger management and myriad physical health concerns.
