Elizabeth Rogers, MA, E-RYT 500, is the director of Atlanta Yoga. She has been professionally involved in movement/moving arts since the age of 14 and has been practicing and teaching Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga for over 15 years. She has developed and implemented innovative teacher training curricula for one and two year trainings that bring together yoga, movement arts, Buddhist Studies and Psychoanalytic studies. She has also written and implemented the 450 hour Yoga Therapeutics training at Atlanta Yoga. Her daily work in the studio weaves together threads from yoga, dance, psychoanalysis and art. In addition to her work with groups and individuals in the studio, Elizabeth is actively engaged in clinical psychoanalytic work and in the plastic and moving arts.
