My classes offer a clear thematic and alignment focus that students can carry with them off the mat. I draw inspiration from my personal yoga practice, the everyday revelations of raising a toddler in Brooklyn, and 10 years as a public middle school teacher (of reading, writing, history, journalism, and yoga). Through storytelling, clear instruction, and mindful sequencing, I seek to provide students with ways to access their potential and remember their truest, highest Self.
I completed teacher training (RYT200) with Tara Glazier at Abhaya Yoga in 2012, shortly before my son Eliot was born. The profound impact my yoga practice had on my pregnancy, delivery, and early motherhood inspired me to share this transformative practice with women on their own journeys, and I'm currently completing Prenatal Training (PRYT85) with Lara Kohn-Thompson and Beth Donnelly Caban through the Integral Yoga Institute. I am deeply honored to support women as they empower themselves through this practice.
I offer deep gratitude to all her teachers, yoga and otherwise, for sharing their gifts and inspiring my growth and dedication. I would especially like to thank Tara Glazier, Sara Neufeld, and of course, my mom and my son--my most influential teachers.
