I’m a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance, have a Master of Arts in Teaching, and am a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I'm also a brand-new mom to the sweetest baby boy on the planet.
My classes are primarily Power Vinyasa with a healthy dose of alignment and steady breath. Expect a fun, challenging practice that connects breath and movement, while cultivating mind body awareness. I offer modifications and variations for all levels of student, and also enjoy getting back to basics with beginner yogis or rusty practitioners. With that in mind, I like to encourage students to play, learn, ask questions, and realize that it’s okay to fall down sometimes!
I often say that I practice yoga to keep me sane. Yoga involves your whole being: mind, body, and spirit. It conditions the body, yes, building strength, flexibility, and stamina. But it also helps you to stay mentally focused and emotionally stable, equipping you with the tools to fearlessly face everyday challenges with grace and good humor. Yoga can bring a greater appreciation of the world, helping the practitioner to live consciously in the present, and to be kinder to themselves and others.
