I am a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. I completed Yoga teacher training at Jane’s House of Well Being in 2008. I have been a student at Jane’s House since 2006, where I find a welcoming community and sense of “home”. I teach the Dynamic Yoga Method, a simple and transformative method accessible to all. My classes are inspired by teachers Robin Buck, Matthew & Holly Krepps, Saul David Raye, Tias Little, and Shatka Kaur Khalsa.

She truly cares!

Emily has trained for many years and has put her love for teaching all ages into action! She teaches in a way that gives the students back to themselves and that truly is what yoga is all about. She cares deeply and is a dedicated student as well as teacher. I am so thankful for Emily!

Emily: An Innovative Guide

Emily Weaver is an innovative, yet traditional yoga guide. She continually attends yoga workshops and other related educational venues to enhance knowledge of her own yoga practice. And then Emily shares these new ideas with her classes on a regular basis. In each of Emily's classes, she builds on traditional yoga movements and introduces new safe ways of building strength and stretching. Emily is always ready to offer pleasant surprises to her students.

For one of her classes, Emily suggested that we meet in an outdoor park, because the weather was particularly beautiful that day. Everyone who attended Emily's early morning class that day felt invigorated and renewed! I love to show up for Emily's classes, knowing that I will be exposed to creative and fresh ideas.

Emily is an excellent yoga teacher, she makes every class interesting and always starts the class by asking us what we need out of the class today. I have been going to her class for 4 years, she is very experienced. She is not only a great teacher, she has become a friend.

Comes from the heart

I love going to Jane's House of Well Being. With my busy schedule I take classes on Wednesday's and Sunday's. Emily teaches on Wednesdays'. What I like about Emily teaching style is that she always ask if we have any areas of concern or what muscles would you like to stretch today. Then meditation, which is nice. When she speaks she explains very well how to do each pose/movement, but if she thinks it might be challenging to you she will tell to do a different pose.

If you are doing it wrong or struggling with a movement she will come over and help you. Also, every Wednesday is not the same routine, always different, wide variety of movements. I have gone to other places for yoga classes, but stop going when I found Emily class on Wednesday.

Both soothing to your soul and strengthening to your body!

Emily's classes were always a treat for me to attend! She often comes up with creative transitions or ways to incorporate props into her classes. Sometimes she uses a theme for a month like teaching more in-depth about the yamas or mantras. Her classes are challenging in a strength building way and soothing to the soul and nervous system.
