Erica's passion for yoga began in 2000 in Sydney. What commenced as therapy for a knee sporting injury, soon became a philosophy and way of life. A certified Yoga Instructor with over 13 years of yoga knowledge through self practise, studies and ongoing workshops, she completed her 200hours Teachers Training with the School of Yoga Pada in India and continued further studies with the Byron Yoga Centre, completing her Certificate IV (200 & 500hours) as a Yoga instructor. She is known for sharing and bringing her love of Raja; Bhakti and Nada Yoga in a flowing meditative dance with the breath. She is an intuitive teacher and whether her classes are a sumptuous, nurturing restorative and yin class or a more dynamic challenging vinyasa flow, they are always delivered with lots of heart. She has been teaching for over four years in various gyms, studios, schools and community classes within WA. Erica teaches vinyasa, yin, restorative and yoga nidra.
"Yoga has been life transforming for strengthening;flexibility; confidence; clarity; and peace I found during my practise began to transform my mental, physical and emotional wellbeing off the mat - in life and work. It has helped and continues to help me find self-love and most important my own truth so that I am living more honestly and in tune with my heart. It is this beautiful gift my teachers have guided me to which I wish to share and impart with my students."
