Erika Faith is the founder and director of Cloud Nine Yoga Schools, nationally recognized by The Yoga Alliance at the highest level since 2002.

“I am a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher and Yoga Instructor Trainer ( 500) certified by the White Lotus Foundation in 1998. I currently reside in Southern California where I train yoga teachers and students in Riverside, San Diego, and Orange counties. Along with a huge support network of talented teachers, trainers and fitness/holistic practitioners, I am leading retreats, facilitating classes, conducting workshops and empowering others through the sacred art and practice of Yoga.

I engage my students with playful yoga sequences that potently produce a meditative atmosphere for inquiry and inner awareness. Using specific breathing techniques with internal visualizations and vocal affirmation, practitioners often find themselves releasing deeply. Creating a safe, sacred and supportive space, I guide my classes with radiant poetry and rhythmic music. My goal is to offer a true journey into the heart of being human.

My teaching techniques include using healing touch, partner work, mindful adjustments, aromatherapy and universal spiritual concepts to empower each person to open themselves. There is an ecstatic quality to how I teach; in that, every practitioner is offered choices and the encouragement to tune into their own needs. Poses are used as medicine for the body – as templates to work from – rather than conform to.”

Erika Faith--A Deeply Intutive and Compassionate Yogini

I've had several classes with Erika Faith.

In 2010, I was trained in her Yoga Studio, Cloud Nine Yoga, Huntington Beach, California; and became a E-RYT 200 Certified Yoga, as well Meditation Teacher.

I met her the first time in my Yoga Teacher Training classes, and also in our Yoga Retreat. She is by far one of the most sincere, intuitive, compassionate, patient and loving Beings I know. The journey of becoming a Yoga Teacher wasn't just about teaching yoga for me, it was an exquisite adventure of self-love and self-discovery.

Erika made my journey a smoother one. Her serene and poised nature during her lectures and asana teachings inspired me to be the best yoga teacher I could be. During Asana Practices, she would correct my alignment and postures with great care and gentleness.

I especially vividly remember a Ying Yoga Class she taught in one of our Retreats. The asanas were gentle and flowing, yet we had to hold each posture for a good 3 to 4 minutes. This really opened deep emotional wounds that were imbedded in my muscles. Due to that, I became very emotional in the midst of my practice--shedding a lot of cool, purifying tears.

It turned out this was an experience many students engaged in that particular class. Erika was keenly aware of this. She gently encouraged us to lean into and lovingly surrender into whatever emotions arose within. To honor them. Be with them, then release them.

I noticed if any student needed kleenex tissues, she provided. Her innate knowledge of not just the technical aspects of yoga, but also the emotional healing that comes through provided nothing less than a poignantly spiritual and enlightening learning experience for all involved.

Along with that, her friendly, humerous and presence of pure generosity are such gifts. Anyone can easily feel so at ease around her. Erika truly defines the notion of being a Yogini-Goddess with such impeccability.

She is just simply--AMAZING!
