Erin Geraghty, Thrive Yoga & Fitness studio owner, is a multifaceted Yoga teacher. She is nationally certified in Personal Training and Yoga. She is a black belt in martial arts from a mix of Shotokan, Jujitsu, and Judo and has taught women’s self defense and cardio combat in Japan and the United States.
As the yin to her yang, she is a yoga therapist with an RYT-500 in Ashtanga Vinyasa. As a nationally certified yoga instructor, Erin blends elements of Iyengar, Vinyasa, and Chakra yogic styles, martial arts, and isotonic isolation into her practice. Her teaching style is very adaptable as she has experience with many different age and fitness levels and she makes a point to not just show moves, but to truly teach her students to savor each individual movement. Erin is very passionate about yoga and deeply values the ability of the breath to link the mind, body, and spirit.
Erin’s training began in Japan and took her to explore different forms of yoga which she now incorporates in her practice. She also learned Body Rolling while living in Osaka, Japan which she also practices and teaches.
