I am a practising chiropractor with 25 years experience, living my deep interest in health, wellbeing, upgrading nervous systems and expressing life force energy.
I have a background in yoga and traditional Korean martial arts, having practised both for approximately 10 years each as a student. I have had no dance experience at all.
Then I went to a Nia class! The yoga and the martial arts were familiar in my body, but the personal expression that came with the dance element was very new and it lit every cell in my body. Nia is an integrated practise that balances body, mind, emotions and spirit. I think my husband likes me better when I do Nia!
Nia Principles are taught in training intensives using a similar belt system to martial arts. I recently my Black Belt training in the USA.
