Fiona (spiritual name, Sundari) teaches yoga classes, meditation courses and workshops on related yoga topics.

Trained and long-time practitioner in the Sivananda tradition, I have been teaching regularly since 2001. Through physical stretches, breathing exercises and bodily relaxation, mental and spiritual relaxation follow. I aim to facilitate a space where students can tap into the deep connection with peace that yoga allows.

“Health is wealth, Peace of mind is happiness, Yoga shows the way.”
- Swami Vishnudevananda

I teach all levels, ages and abilities, and meditation; 1-1s and small groups. Fully insured, first aid, DBS enhanced certificate.

The balancing art of a yogic life requires some effort and a sense of humour. Classes reflect this. I have an integrated practice: asanas, pranayama, meditation, chanting, study of yoga philosophy and karma yoga (selfless service). I've done the Sivananda Advanced Teacher Training, Sadhana Intensive twice and served as staff in ashrams and centres. My experience informs my teaching.

In December 2017 I founded Viveka Gardens Yoga Farm, a retreat place where community and visitors can ground themselves through yoga practices and growing, and so connect with their true self to embody peace and unity. The farm is in mid-Devon (Crediton, Exeter) and will be welcoming guests for retreats.
