When she first started practicing yoga, Flavia was surprised by the benefits she could experience after class, especially the sense of happiness and gratitude in addition to the physical wellbeing. Life seemed a little easier after yoga and she wanted to go deeper ever since.
She graduated from the triyoga teacher training programme with distinctive grades under Jean Hall and Mimi Kuo-Deemer. She is now a British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Alliance registered teacher and she is currently teaching assistant on the triyoga teacher training programme.
Flavia always strives to adopt a beginner’s mind in her practice as well as in her teaching, deeply connecting to the present moment using the breath and the sensations in the body.
She mainly teaches a mindful flow class adopting the same approach, with much attention to alignment and to the breath while discouraging competition with others as well as oneself.
