My name is Gabriela Alejandra Prado, I am poet born in Argentina.
My love for Nature led me to discover the philosophy of Tao, which I began practicing early in my life.
Studying on my own later I discovered the similarities in the spiritual and physical practices between
the Tao and Yoga and their ways of understanding reality.
I have been teaching Hatha Yoga in English and Spanish for more than 16 years in New York City, Argentina, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua.
My classes are usually one hour and forty five minutes long combining hatha yoga asanas, kundalini movements, pranayama, chanting and deep relaxation.
I am certified by the Integral Yoga Institute of New York () to teach Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced level classes; as well as Pre-Natal and Post-Partum Yoga and Laughter Yoga.
I also received formal training and certification in Advanced Interdisciplinary Yoga from the Nosara Yoga Institute ().
Today I live in Las Salinas de Nahualapa with my husband. Since 2004 we have been active in the local culture by creating Aprender () a non profit organization dedicated to provide educational opportunities to our community.
And we created and run an Ecolodge: Equilibrio Yoga Art Nature Retreat ()
