Gabrielle Richard was initiated into yoga by her master Gerard Arnaud, direct disciple of BKS Iyengar in Puna and Pattabhi Jois (Ashtanga Yoga) in Mysore (India). She has the FFY diploma, the first French Certification Programme recognised by Yoga Alliance USA. After being a dancer for 20 years, she was naturally driven to the wonderful adventure of yoga. She believes that body and spiritual harmony can be attained through a regular yoga practice. For her, progress into the heart of yoga is a matter of developing and refining sensitivity and attentiveness. Yoga (as a complete practice of asanas/postures, Prânâyâma/breathing and dhyâna/meditation) nourishes and opens body and mind completely. She is always learning and discovering more about all the infinite possibilities of yoga. She is also a Rainbow Family Yoga 200 Hour certified Teacher, because she believes that the peace and joy of yoga can penetrate deeper into our world by sharing it with families. She is certified to teach the following : Fertility Yoga – Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga – Baby Yoga – Yoga for Kids/ Teens/ Family Yoga – Partner Yoga. She has also followed the yoga nidra training at the Satyananda School and a dynamic yoga training course with Godfri Dev. She can teach vinyasa, dynamic, restorative, yin and hatha yoga. She teaches in different yoga studios in Paris (such as the Féderation Française de yoga, Yazen, Inspire…), in private companies and educational centers (executive education school of Insead, Parson design school…) and she gives private classes. She’s the creator with a colleague yoga instructor of the association, as a way of developing mindfulness through different ways of looking deeply into diverse yoga practices, meditations and healing therapies, through conferences, workshops and retreats. Gabrielle is a reiki practitioner : her masters are Patrice Gros and Don Alexander. She also started meditation more than 10 years ago and she deepened and developed her practice in the Dojo zen in Paris & la gendronière (zen, Taisen Deshimaru) as well as mindfulness with Thich Nhat Hanh at plum’s village and Therevada meditation in Bodhinyanarama monastery (forest’s monk line)
