From a long-standing curiosity of human psychology and the inner workings of life, Gabrielle (ERYT-200/RYT-500) began studies in asana while completing her PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology at the University of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. A desire for more led her to travel extensively, and landed her in Bali where she helped launch the Radiantly Alive Teacher Training Programs. For 6 years she served as the Training Coordinator overseeing nearly all the aspects of both 200 hour and 500 hour trainings, including serving as mentor and teacher. She pursued intensive study in various yoga traditions with notable teachers including Dena Kingsberg of the Ashtanga Vinyasa Method, and Edward Clark of Tripsichore. After having stood at the helm of ten teacher trainings in Bali and studying with some of the world’s top yoga instructors, she traveled to Dubai in 2011 to lead her own teacher training. Currently based in New York City, Gabrielle serves as senior faculty on 500 hour and 200 hour yoga teacher trainings in Bali and Costa Rica. She is a ERYT-200/RYT500 certified instructor, and a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. Her illumined understanding of breath, pure vinyasa, dhyana and devotion are ever-present within her classes and teachings as she skillfully weaves traditional and contemporary philosophy throughout her creative and consciously sequenced classes.
