London based yoga teacher specialising in bespoke yoga programmes for individuals who wish to learn yoga the traditional way; one to one.

I also teach group classes for all levels from beginners to experienced. My teaching utilises postures, breathing techniques, use of sound and Vedic chanting, visualisation, lifestyle advice, meditative practices and much much more. Expect to be supported, challenged and have a lot of fun and laughter.

In the tradition of Krishnamacharya and TKV Desikachar there are numerous tools available, such as:

•asana (postures)
•pranayama (conscious breath regulation)
•nada and mantra (sound)
•ahara and vihara (diet and lifestyle advice)
•philosophy and theory

In addition my teaching utilises bhavana (visualisation), nyasa (special gestures), Yoga sutra-s, and the principles of Ayurveda (the science of vitality) to develop students towards their goals.

Some people come looking for relaxation, others to get fit or loose weight. Yoga can help as a complementary therapy for those with ill-health. I can also assist you with the more challenging physical practices (I teach yoga to some acrobats), and with spiritual direction.

Exemplary knowledge, intuitively applied

Gaby has an excellent knowledge of all aspects of yoga, some of which are not in the limelight in the West today. Apart of postures and breathing techniques, she can also give an insight into the use of visualizations, touch, vedic chanting and meditative techniques. These can form the basis of a deeply transformational practice, tailored to the needs of the individual.
She is great at diagnosing underlying issues and plans the practices to target the problems while taking into account the needs and circumstances of her students.
She is clear in her instructions and brilliant (and patient) in explanations, be it a group class or a one-to-one session.

Great teacher!


I just took one class with Gaby and I really enjoyed it! I know how it is to teach to beginners, so I can only say that she was a great teacher. Although I could not continue because I was just visiting London, I think I am "hooked" I have been thinking in taking Yoga classes back in the States!

Great yoga teacher

I have been attending Gaby's group yoga classes for a couple of months now. She is very good at teaching, explaining and customizing postures to different practice levels and promoting good physical and mental health. I have already noticed a big improvement in my posture, energy levels and flexibility! I definitely recommend her.

Highly Recommended

Gaby's teaching methods are structured but flexible (no pun intended) to meet an individual's needs. I had some specific goals that I discussed with Gaby. She listened and developed a regime that not only helped me reach those goals but in a such a way that fitted in well with my lifestyle.
Gaby is professional in her approach but balances that with her open, friendly and informal teaching approach. I would recommend her to anyone whether they want to practice as part of a group or on a 1:1 basis.

Great Teacher

Gaby has worked at my studio Pilates Plus as a yoga instructor for a year now. She is always on time,trustworthy and conscientious. Her Yoga classes are very popular and clients leave looking relaxed yet revived. I highly recommend taking class with Gaby.

Company yoga

Gaby ran yoga classes at my company for two terms, teaching to a wide range of students from completely new to yoga, to reasonably experienced. The classes were a highlight of my week - I very much looked forward to the end of the afternoon on Wednesday when Gaby's grinning face would summon me from my work for some yoga and I would always leave the class feeling uplifted, balanced and with the right amount of challenge.


Gaby stripped down my practice to it's core and started to rebuild it on more authentic, sensible foundations which is something I have now oriented my practice around. It came across very strongly that Gaby was knowledgeable, committed to an authentic practice, very much enjoyed teaching and contributing to her students and her sense of fun rubbed off on us.

Private Yoga sessions

I am a professional dancer and aerialist with some experience of yoga. I have been following a bespoke morning practice that Gaby designed for me. It has been thorough and definitely engineered to my lifestyle. Very happy so far and still a lot to learn, highly recommended!
