As the daughter of a Korean Hatha yoga teacher, it was only a matter of time before Gayoung would follow in her mom’s footsteps and start teaching yoga herself. She explored different types of yoga in Australia, India and Uganda before moving to Brussels where she developed a liking for Ashtanga. She finds Ashtanga Vinyasa brings healing effects to both body and mind and it allows her to achieve complete focus and live each moment to the fullest, leaving worries and stress behind. Wanting to share these experiences with others is what motivated her to start teaching part-time.
She has qualifications in KYIA Yoga Instructor (Korea, 2012) and Ashtanga Vinyasa RYT200 (Belgium, 2018).
