I started practicing Yoga many years ago, on the advice it would help me relax. It worked !
In the last 4 years I have developed a deeper connection to Yoga and now understand it as a lifestyle. Yoga, translated to 'unity' taught me to unite all aspects of my life bringing harmony and balance in all I do.
Observing the physical, mental and spiritual benefits that the yoga lifestyle brought to me drove my passion for teaching others.
For 6 months after qualifying at the Sivananda Yoga Ashram, Kerala, India , I continued to teach in Asia. I helped teach a summer camp for children. Since returning to the UK I have taught groups privately and for gyms. I have also taught adults with additional physical and learning needs. Currently I am on a team of wonderful people running an annual Yoga Festival held during the summer in Berkshire.
Within teaching we focus on Savasana (Relaxation) Pranayama (breathing) , Asana (steady pose) . I also like to lead meditation in class.
