I am a yoga teacher in South Florida, fortunate to be teaching at a few different venues, slowly and steadily building a following. I come from a Modern Dance, running and aerobics background, but I fell in love with yoga in 2001 in my living room, with a Rodney Yee video. I continued to build a home practice for 6 years before I ever took a class or met a teacher.
Yoga began to affect me off the mat as well as on, and I've overcome some major hurdles in my life because of it. My struggles with a persistent and life-long eating disorder began to fade away as a direct result of putting the principles of the Eight-Limbed path into my daily life. Yoga has also enhanced my recovery from drug and alcohol addiction and Bipolar Disorder. Having seen first hand how yoga could transform lives, I just couldn't keep this powerful science to myself. I knew I would end up a teacher myself, and things really began to fall into place in that area after I moved to South Florida in October, 2010. I completed my 200 hour teacher training in September 2012 and haven't looked back.
I believe I have the best job in the world.
