Yoga has enabled me find my breath and quite simply enjoy the moment.
It’s expansive toolkit has helped to heal me from various conditions, including a fractured spine and chronic back pain. Having healed myself I feel empowered to share my learning’s and to help pave the way for other’s to heal themselves too.
I’ve been studying and practising yoga since 1999 and teaching London and Devon since 2007.
My Yoga practise has been influenced by different schools and traditions; these different teachings have enabled me to have a holistic and eclectic approach towards Yoga.
I stated my teacher training journey with British Wheel of Yoga and was then one of the first graduates from Yogacharya Conrad Paul founder of Yoga Professionals. UK’s first teacher training school to meet the new rigorous government set level 3 CYQ fitness instructor qualification (level 3). I’m on the Register of excercise Professionals.
I completed Lifeforce yoga teacher training with Amy Winetraub at Kripalu where I’ve learnt yogic practices supported by current research in psycho-neurobiology.
I have recently completed Reiki 1 and 11 as well as a post graduate diploma yoga therapy course with Duncan Hulin (The Devon School of yoga).
My aim is to make the benefits of yoga accessible to all, from my two young children to my grandparents. Yoga really can benefit everyone. Give it a try!
I'm currently running weekly yoga classes at The Fore Yoga Centre in Totnes and kids yoga classes at Chapel House Studio in Totnes. I also run chair based yoga classes for people who struggle to get up and down from the floor.
