Gina is engaged in out running, skiing, biking, or hiking. Being introduced to Bikram yoga 10 years ago opened up a whole new world to her, a way to nurture her mind and body. Continuing to seek out the yoga world she explored Hatha and Power Vinyasa throughout the years. The challenging sequences and postures served her athletic appetite, but the moving meditation of connecting the breath with the postures served her mind, body and soul. Gina views yoga as a "gift that keeps on giving" with personal empowerment, confidence and enlightenment! Wanting to share this gift with others is what led her to study with Ali Valdez and Liz Doyle through Sattva Yoga. She received her 200 hour Yoga Alliance certification in Power Vinyasa in 2013. She also has completed the Teacher Assisting Program (TAP) with Lisa Black. Gina believes that once you walk in the studio, yoga is all about your "inner" self and self study, take it lightly, have fun, and try new things. Have a smile on your face and laugh with yourself! Live life to the fullest and ENJOY!
