Gita began her yogic journey in 2001. First using yoga as a way to address chronic back pain, then using it to completely transform her life from the inside out. She received her teaching certification from Shambhava Yoga in 2008 and has been teaching full-time ever since. Currently she teaches in Colorado. With an emphasis in pranayama, yogic philosophy, and inner focus Gita hopes to use each class to support delving inward to discover personal growth. Your exploration will include deepening your physical practice (whether it's your first class or 100th), enjoying community, and finding how yoga can enrich your life! Whether you are preparing to have a baby, looking to challenge yourself, or desire a nourishing practice, Gita is excited to assist you in connecting to your "whole" self.
