Yoga came into my life almost 5 years ago, and during this time, the practice has helped me grow stronger, more fearless (on and off the mat!) and it has inspired me to live each moment with a mindful attitude and with more gratitude.
I completed my Yoga teacher training with Centered Yoga in Koh Samui, Thailand and as a registered member of the Yoga Alliance UK, take professional development courses, extending my knowledge with teachers such as Sally Parkes (Yoga Anatomy) and Bridget Woods-Kramer (Triyoga studios London). I will remain always a student of the practice, and I hope that in sharing my passion I can continue along the path of the many teachers that have come before and shared the gift that is Yoga.
My classes are based on the traditional Ashtanga yoga method with added elements of Vinyasa flow, linking breath with movement, reflecting my creative and dance background. For beginners of yoga we will focus on building the foundations of a stable yoga practice, concentrating equally on flexibility and strength with a careful consideration to alignment.
I would describe yoga as a way to come back to your body. If you are breathing, you are practising yoga. My hope is that for the time you are on your mat, you are dedicated just to you. Time to open your heart, to build strength, to take care of yourself and for self-love and discovery, so that you can step off the mat leaving the class with a smile.
