I began my yoga journey years ago as a student while visiting friends in San Francisco. I have now been teaching for nine years and studied with Janet Stone and at Parusha Yoga Studio in San Francisco. My teaching style challenges students in an encouraging, supportive manner through which students are able to connect to the mind, body and soul. Peaceful mind / strong body is a common mantra for my class.
Teaching Hatha, Power, Broga and Restorative yoga, I like to create a unique environment that addresses each students needs while reaching satisfaction of the entire class. Moving through modifications, special requests and yoga growth, I stress the attention to detail and communicate the postures clearly and concisely so that students are able to connect with the posture and its benefits.
I feel a sense of gratitude for the trust, devotion and intention each student brings to the mat. I encourage each student to freely give the gifts that they possess as well as openly receive the gifts of others.
