Greg first stepped foot in a yoga class 13 years ago while growing up in Rhode Island, as a way to increase his flexibility while practicing Kenpo Karate. His belief that yoga is not only a practice, but a way of life has led him to infuse his practice in all aspects of his daily life. He has been practicing Forrest Yoga intensively since 2010, and completed the Forrest Yoga Foundation Teacher Training in 2012.

Greg teaches the Forrest Yoga Chakra Balancing Series at Inner Elements Yoga Studio in Portland, OR. Being a multimedia artist, Greg incorporates the many gifts that bring love, Beauty, and creativity to his healing practice of balancing the Chakras. In his class you will work your breath, intention, and physical asanas to explore your body in new ways. You will focus on the core tenets of yoga; building on our breath work, alignment, and gaining strength to help secure a strong foundation for our more advanced classes.

When not teaching at Inner Elements, Greg spends his time volunteering with Street Yoga, working on one of his many creative entrepreneurial endeavors, or hiking with his dog, Griffen. You may also catch him climbing a local volcano, rafting a river, running, traveling, or enjoying time spent with his wonderful family and friends. Greg is available for group classes, as well as private classes.

Here is what world-renowned Creatrix of Forrest Yoga, Ana Forrest, has to say about Greg:

“All you Oregonian’s… Walk, bike, or run to Inner Elements Yoga for the opportunity to work with Greg!

Greg is one of those rare creatures who can hold space for the student in a compassionate and wise way allowing them to be present in their entirety; wounds, challenges, and brilliance. He has helped transform Inner Elements into a nexus of healing and inspiring energy and I call on all of you to immerse yourself in this wonderful healing whirlpool.

Greg’s generosity of heart sets him in a category different from most teachers and comes through in every interaction with his students and community. This is a rare and precious gift. Take advantage of what he’s offering to you.

I am so proud that Inner Elements is the Oregon home of Forrest Yoga! AHO!” ~Ana Forrest
