Through the tools of Heart of Yoga, students unveil and nurture their own peace and wellbeing. These tools comprise: asana, pranayama, chant, relaxation and meditation. Classes run throughout the year and special workshops such as the Art & Joy of Chant and the Summer Yoga Intensive are also available.

My teaching synthesises Integral Yoga, Viniyoga and Heart of Yoga. I give thanks for my wise loving teachers: Swami Venkatesananda, TKV Desikachar, Mark Whitwell and Sogyal Rinpoche.

A special teacher in the Great Southern

Hamsa's January Intensive is a gift at the start of a new year. I travel from Perth to Albany to attend the January Intensive, finding it the perfect recovery after the festive season and opportunity to prepare for another year.
Hamsa's decades of study, practice and teaching shine through and create an experience of peace, joy and growth.
People living in the Albany region are blessed to have Hamsa Jo offering classes, workshops and retreats.

A learned, safe and experienced teacher

Hamsa's weekly yoga classes and annual intensive sessions are inspirational and practical. The chanting and asanas help me daily with physical and mental challenges - I willing travel 65 km to this class where I feel safe and valued.
