I have a background in contemporary dance and came to yoga through an appreciation for movement as a therapy for both the body and the mind. I believe that yoga is a holistic practice, and that yoga asana, combined with breath and a meditative focus can be the beginnings of a personal journey towards an open heart and soul. My classes are a flowing fusion of vinyasa and traditional hatha flow, incorporating small amounts of pilates and breath work as well as meditation.
