Hayley Gold (RYT 200) began her Yogic journey at the young age of 17 as a means of balancing academics while studying at University in Montreal. After graduating, she journeyed to Dharamsala India to volunteer with Tibetan refugees, this where she met her first Guru and Yoga mentor, Pankaj Seth.
Inspired by the Indian teachings of Yoga, Hayley returned to India five years later and completed her first RYT 200 in the holy village of Rishikesh.
Hayley currently resides in New York City, where yoga and meditation serve as a blissful modality in the bustling city that never sleeps. This April 2015 she completed her second RYT 200 HR at the School of Sacred Arts at the Yoga Barn in Ubud.
Hayley’s mission is to share the ancient wisdom of yoga, to help open the doors to self inquiry and physical awareness. Hayley is also an avid meditator and believes that yoga should both be physically challenging yet mindful and calming, a dual essence which she abides by in every day life, and joyfully exudes in her classes.
“Yoga is fearless expression of self. It begins with a practice and then turns into a lifestyle, a way of being. It is a really beautiful thing.”
