I fell in love with yoga in 1997, when I was introduced to traditional Raja Yoga at a tiny local Unitarian church. Yoga has transformed my life over and over again, and I teach because I love helping people find that transformative experience for themselves. I believe that one of my primary goals as a yoga teacher is to help my students learn to develop the awareness and stillness necessary to hear the wisdom of the most important teacher of all, the teacher within.
I teach Restorative Yoga, iRest Yoga Nidra, Pranayama, and Meditation. As a practicing environmental law attorney, iRest Yoga Nidra and Restorative Yoga has helped me immensely in countering the harmful effects of stress from daily life.
I completed my 200-hour teacher training in 2013. Since that time I have taken workshops and trainings with teachers such as Judith Lasater, Sadie Nardini, and Leslie Kaminoff. I am currently completing an advanced 300-hour Teacher Training at Yoga on High in Columbus, Ohio, where I have had the privilege to study with the incredible YoHi teachers and with yoga luminaries such as Richard Freeman, Jason Crandell, Roger Cole, Kino MacGregor, and many others. I have completed the iRest Yoga Nidra Level 1 training and am an iRest Yoga Nidra Teacher-in-Training.
