Take your Ashtanga practice outside the box in this 80-90 minute, breath-powered, flowing yoga class suitable for beginner to intermediate practitioners. Let's go deeper, get stronger, breathe more freely and find peace and tranquility within. We will also explore some poses in the Second Series. Mysore students are welcome to come and practice independently. (Note: This class is physically demanding.)
This special series for health and fitness will be lead by Heidi. Each class begins with 30 minutes of vinyasa flowing yoga blending elements of Tai Chi, DanceYOGA(tm) Yoga Trance Dance, Tri Yoga Flow, Warrior Series, and Shiva Rea's Advanced Vinyasa. Class continues with a 15-minute workout on specific muscle groups, and concludes with deep relaxation. This vinyasa class is a Level I/II and is suitable for most seasoned beginners and intermediate yoga practitioners.
Try this Beginner-focused Vinyasa Flow class that incorporates elements of Tri-Yoga, Kundalini, DanceYoga, and Shiva Rea's Vinyasa Flow Yoga. Increased flexibility, clarity of mind and restorative relaxation are just a few of the benefits gained from practicing Vinyasa Yoga. Modifications provided for those with wrist, knee, shoulder and back issues. Bring a water bottle, yoga mat, and wear comfortable clothing.
